Coffee Table Legs Metal Coffee Table Legs?

Metal Coffee Table Legs? - coffee table legs

The second week I cut my bed and bunk beds for 2 reasons. 1) I wanted a single bed and 2) I have my legs in the coffee table in the school. So I've just put one foot in the car ready for tomorrow, but I have noticed quite a few scratches on it, I really wanted to paint it silver, for instance, using spray dry, wet it, then painted, he would be new? If anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid of scratches, please tell me urgently.

As you paint anyway, there are certain things you can do to help the old legs.

1. Sand just enough to break the target. It is thus the color adhere better, and helps moisture. If the feet are round, mounting on a wood lathe is the fastest way to sand.

2. Once you have broken the end, look for scratches. If the student does not, Goucher,,,, try to increase it. Apply a damp paper towel over the drain and the heat of a steam iron. The hotter the better. Not enough to burn wood, but hot enough to generate electricity and steam from steam into the wood. This can often ask students, while the forces of steam into the wood fibers and expanded.

3. Let dry. Fill a court or other students with wood putty. Because anyway you color, the color is not important. You can even make your own with wood glue and sawdust.

4. The sweet, dry, and sand. Painting with a first cut. Fills scratches too. Sand smooth.

5. Coating.

Hope this helps.

EDIT --

For painted metal leg ,,,,,

1. The sand in the leg. To accept difficult to paint. Do not worry about scratches on the other end. You can do this by hand with sand paper, aluminum oxide, regulate, 110 grain is good.

2. The first step to the first can be sanded, you can get into an aerosol. Nice even coat, do not worry about trying to fill all the scratches on the first layer. Let dry.

3. Light sand paper around 220 grains of aluminum oxide, with the hand. Clean. If you have no deep scratches, then a different primer sanded ,,,,, etc, etc, until you qualify.

4. Grinding past, with a> 400 sand paper on sand. Clean. In general, the final table, several thin coats are better than thick. Helps prevent runs, and oragne bombing.

Good luck.
